All right. So, I've got a real quick #RealEstateLifeHack for you. A lot of my La Mesa Home buyer clients get nervous about this question and they always ask me. So, I'm going to tell you. Is your home appraiser out to rip you off? And the answer is absolutely not.
What we have to understand is the Home appraiser works for your bank, the bank that has given you the loan, the bank that sees you the home buyers as a risk. So, that's why they want your credit scores, and they want to know your debt to income ratios because they want to know if you are a risk, and they want to know how much that la mesa property is. What is it worth?
The bank hires a third party to go out and assess its la mesa ca value. So the bank wants it to be as low as possible. No one except the seller wants the price to be way up here.

Okay? So a lot of San Diego home buyers think, "The home appraiser's going to work with the la mesa seller, and they're going to screw me, and they're going to say it's super high." Absolutely not, it's the exact opposite. The bank is working for you the home buyer and it's in the bank's best interest to have the price as low as possible.
